A customer was trying to setup SSO/SAML in Highlight and wanted to use a non-email related id to connect (like XXXXX@castsoftware.com which is an id that cannot receive mail).
Details
This is not supported: login and email address can't be dissociated, they should be the same.
Nameid should be mapped to user email id.
