AIP Console 2.0.0 - Funcrel released

After launching the beta version of AIP Console 2.0.0, the Product team is excited to announce the first functional release. You can download it here.

Here is a quick overview of the main improvements of this new version compared to AIP Console 1

• AIP Console 2.x has been designed to be more flexible and more scalable than AIP Console 1.x.

• The Front end is built as a microservices architecture. It can be deployed on Linux or Windows environment either as Containers by using Docker or as components by using Installer.

• The AIP Node is Stateless : Applications are no more attached to AIP Nodes as it is the case in AIP Console 1.x. Any Node can execute a job (Analysis, Snapshot, Tool after analysis, Application creation....) for any application.

• The Load Balancing ability has been introduced in this new version : The AIP Console will allocate the Job to the most available AIP Node.

• Fresh AIP Nodes instances are automatically detected by AIP Console V2. This will allow, in case of intense activity to deploy additional AIP Nodes on demand.

Note that all the features that exist in AIP Console 1 have been ported to AIP Console 2.

To get more details, I encourage you to navigate in the Release Notes. You can visit the documentation{https://doc.castsoftware.com/display/AIPCONSOLE/AIP+Console+-+2.x} to familiarize yourself with this new version.

This is just the begining of the Console Version 2 journey, we can't wait your feedback.
