Architectural Monitoring – Compare & History
Compare and History features are now available in Levels 1–5 and Custom Aggregations, enabling users to track architectural-level changes over time. -
Violation Bookmarks for Insights
Investigation for Green Deficiencies, Cloud Maturity, and Structural flaws now supports per-object analysis with violation bookmarks displayed in the source code panel. -
AI Functional Report Export
Generate an AI-based application summary as a Word document to quickly understand the application structure and content.

Read-only Dashboards and Viewer Deployment
Deploy CAST Imaging in read-only mode (Windows/Linux via Docker) without the analysis node component, allowing users to consult results in CAST Dashboards (MD/ED/SD) or viewer graph results. - Offline Docker Installation: Run the Linux via Docker installer in "offline mode" for installation of CAST Imaging in secure environments without internet connections.
- Improved Docker Startup: Ensures containers start in the expected order after machine reboot, preventing dependency delays.

Bulk Upload Named Application Licenses: Upload multiple license keys via
.txtfor new or existing applications. - UI License Strategy Switch: Switch between “Named Application” and “Contributing Developers” license strategies via UI.

Download Analysis Configuration: Export full analysis settings as a
.jsonfile to compare across multiple analyses. - Object ID in Transaction Check Content: View object IDs in transaction rule validation results.
- View Leaves in Transactions: Identify incomplete call graph breaks with the new “View leaves” option; filter with “Hide full graph leaves.”
- Table Details in Characteristics Panel: Columns now display FK, PK, UQ, and index details.
- Third-Party License Information: License compliance status is now shown for third-party components.
- Link Drill-Down Grouping: Drilling down on links across Aggregated by scopes now follows a two-tier grouping: first by object type (such as Java Method), then by parent (module, service, project, or model).
- Simplified Graph Layout Options: Layout is now managed directly in the view with scope-based persistence.
- Custom Graph Layout for Selected Nodes: Apply layout changes to selected objects only for better visual customization.
- Renamed Predefined Views: Level 4 “Frameworks” renamed to “Programming Technologies”; Level 5 “Technologies” to “Technology Object Types.”
Upgrade & Compatibility:
- In-place updates from previous 3.x releases are supported on Microsoft Windows.
- Migration from CAST Console/Imaging 2.x to 3.2 is supported on Microsoft Windows installations, followed by regular upgrade to the latest versions of 3.x.
- Includes critical security patches to address identified vulnerabilities.
