CAST Extend

Since AIP version 8.0, CAST has starting releasing many new product features as separate product extensions. Together with AIP 8.2 (expected release November 2016), we will release CAST Extend, a web service which will give the CAST User Community easy access to many of the extensions developed over time by CAST professional services, CAST Labs or customers.  Extensions include for example support of less common technologies not covered by AIP  such as ColdFusion, Progress and Informatica PowerCenter, as well as scripts to enhance the function point calculation, experimental quality indicators like a Cloud Readiness index, and examples and templates for interesting AIP measurement reports to use with tools like the Report Generator, Excel or BI tools. Community extensions are shared in a an Open Source spirit and are free for anybody to use or improve, and are therefore shared “as-is” and are not covered by CAST Product Support.
