CAST Imaging 2.19.0-alpha2

An alpha version Imaging - 2.19.0-alpha2 is available with some enhancements.

Tool Tips for Nodes and Edges: A tooltip explaining the construction of each node and edge has been included for a better user experience across the board.

Every icon now has a tool tip added so that users may understand the intended action that it takes.

Object Properties: The most frequently used properties are now listed first in the list of object properties, followed by object associations and then all the advanced properties that have been identified via analysis.

Guided Search: New Journeys have been implemented in the Guided Search for Improving application security and performance.

Welcome Page: New tiles are added to the Welcome Page under the new section: "Do you want to optimize and secure your application?". The following Tiles are added: Security Flaws (Identifies all the security flaws), Performance Flaws (Identifies all the performance flaws), and Error Handling Flaws (Identifies all the error handling flaws). Clicking on tiles opens the CAST Taxonomy with level 5 activated, with the associated Insight activated by default, with a specific filter activated to focus only on objects with the selected topic.

Button across Imaging: The button design has been improved to provide a better user experience. Blue highlights are now applied to primary buttons.

Advisor: Advisor navigation is enhanced for better usability and new checks have been added for Imaging Advisor targeting a move to Amazon Web Services (AWS) for IBM z/OS Mainframe and a move to Oracle Cloud from Oracle Server on-premises. To benefit from these checks, the application must contain Mainframe objects and must be re-imported into CAST Imaging.
