CAST Imaging 2.18.0-Beta1 Release

A new beta version Imaging - 2.18.0-beta1 is available with some new features and enhancements.

New Features:

Object Properties - Associated Projects - Associated projects dropdown in object properties that shows a list of projects the selected object is associated with. On selecting a project name from the dropdown user would be navigated to the project view.

Feature Enhancements:

Multi-Tab

• Ability to rename the tabs.
• A shortcut (Alt + Shift) to avoid opening in a new tab in case of the product default behavior of opening in a new tab.

Imaging Advisor

• A new user interface for Advisor that aims to enhance the user experience while navigating into details as part of Imaging Advisor.
• New checks have been added for Imaging Advisor targeting a move to Amazon Web Services (AWS) for IBM z/OS Mainframe and a move to Oracle Cloud from Oracle Server on-premises. Refer for more details: Link.
• The user is informed when a new version of Imaging Advisor is available, and the admin user can initiate the update of the advisor from the admin center.

Imaging Shortcuts

• A new section named "On-demand Tabs" was added in the shortcuts section where "Shift + Left Click" directs to "Investigate in a new tab".
• Under the section "Global Shortcuts", a new shortcut "Shift + Alt". was added to override new tab behavior.
