Console URL is found to be redirecting to localhost after the sign in with the error "This site can't be reached".
Resolution
The hostname parameter is set to localhost, which is the reason for the redirection to localhost.
It should be changed to the hostname of the machine or IP Address or FQDN if Imaging has to be accessed publicly, normally FQDN is preferred.
-
Check if the Keycloak configuration uses localhost as its hostname and change it to the IP Address/ system hostname/ FQDN. Check %PROGRAMFILES%\CAST\Imaging\CAST-Imaging-SSO\conf\keycloak.conf
- Stop the SSO service.
- Correct the hostname field in the keycloak.conf file and save it
- Then restart all the service in the order
- SSO
- Control-Panel service
- Gateway service
- Auth service
- Imaging Console
- Dashboards
- Analysis Node
-
Check if the `keycloak_uri` value in the `control_panel.properties` table points to localhost, update it to the hostname /IP/FQDN if it is.
-
Check if http-host=localhost should be changed to http-host=0.0.0.0. If you want your server to be accessible from outside the container or machine where it is running it should be changed to http-host=0.0.0.0..
