CAST HIGHLIGHT - API - Difference in FTE shown in the application page and the result from the API – CAST

For an application the Application User Interface of Highlight shows a different Total FTE while the
the maintenanceRecordedFTE value from the API shows another value.

Reason

The FTE on the application page comes directory from the survey answer concerning FTE on this application.
The maintenance recorded FTE on the other hand comes from calculations based on other survey answers (such as maintenance effort).

The maintenance estimated FTE comes based on survey and code analysis results.

The section Software Maintenance Estimates in the Indicators and Methodology document
CAST Highlight Indicators Methodology.pptx shows how the actual (recorded) and estimated (recommended) FTI are calculated.
