Attempt to upload a extracted zip file failed. User first attempted to upload a 6.08 MB resultant zip file after the analysis to Highlight but it was not uploading. User then extracted the zip file and tried to upload the 23 csv files manually, but Highlight accepted only 20 files and rest 3 are not uploaded.
Solution
- Check whether the csv files that cannot be uploaded are the “ .analysislog ” files. These files need not be and cannot be uploaded to the portal. When uploading individual files, care should be taken not to include the .analysislog csv files. More details can be found at CAST HIGHLIGHT - Analyzer - Results Upload - Files that can be excluded from uploading to the portal
- Check when uploading the files manually that the following order of upload is followed. For eg CloudReady result files must be uploaded after the generic technology files. When the ZIP is uploaded this sequence is automatically applied.
-
Check whether upload can be made from any other Browser, Browser version.
-
- Check whether there are any extensions like adblocker in their Browser
- Check whether there is any restrictions to certain file extensions.
-
Check the Browser Console Logs to see if there are any errors. In the chrome browser press F12 to open the Browser console.
-
- Check if there are any firewall/network/anti virus restriction that is preventing the upload.
- Check if there are any system/network or security policy restrictions.
-
-
- Check for any file size limitations in the Proxy used for file uploads to external URLS.
- Check if any editing of the csv file name is done and that it follows the expected format. Check if any additional characters are added to the csv name format.
- Check if any editing of CSV files (with Excel) prior to uploading it to the portal is done. Please refer CAST HIGHLIGHT - Results Upload - Invalid CSV file error
