CAST HIGHLIGHT - User Administration - Deleting a domain detaches its users with the error message: This company does not exist

When a user is detached as part of the domain deletion and tries to re-login the error message "This company does not exist" shows up.

When deleting a domain, users in this domain are detached

Example

- Considering the sub domain MSA_Support with the below three users

- Deleting the sub domain

Upon deletion the two of the users had two different error messages as part of the logins.

User 1: Here, a.shet had an error message "This company does not exists". Before I invited Shet to be a part of MSA_Support sub domain as a Portfolio Manager he was an Application Contributor under the Root Domain CAST - Support Sandbox

k.sreejith had an error message "Your subscription period has ended. To continue using Highlight please contact us". Before I invited k.sreejith to be a part of MSA_Support sub domain as a Portfolio Manager he had Results Viewer role in the IT Applications sub domain and no roles in the root domain

Solution

In order to have the user access restored you have to re-invite the person under a specific domain for a given role. Any user with a portfolio manager role at the same domain level or in a domain above can re-invite.
