The current version of a component cannot be seen in the pop-up window that shows the details of the component such as the project time line of all the versions, in the “Software Composition” tab of an application.
It should have been visible as shown below
The component popup where the current version is not available can be seen by
- Selecting a particular application, then
- Selecting the “Software Composition” tab for that application, and then
- Clicking on the particular name of the component from the list of components
Solution
The solution is to keep the "Show Dependency Map " switch in the OFF position as shown in the above screenshot.
Please note that by default the switch is set to Yes, if the analysis is done with the dependencies activated , if not by default (since there is no data) it is set to No (or off)
NB: This behavior of the current version not being shown is expected for those components listed in the portfolio dashboard.
