CAST HIGHLIGHT - Highlight 2 MRI Extension - Highlight results not visible in Imaging - A JNI error has occurred

User installed highlight to MRI extension to  view CAST Highlight results directly in CAST Imaging Viewer. User was unable to see Highlight cloud ready recommendation in imaging, Found the error "A JNI error has occurred, please check your installation and try again" in the  log,

Solution

This error happens usually happens when the correct version of Java as required by the application is not installed. As per the requirements for the extension depending on the release of the Highlight to MRI extension in use the following versions of Java are required. Please refer the Prerequisites

Product Notes
Java JRE The CAST Highlight agent requires an installation of the JRE on the node. Java 8 and 11 are supported, depending on the release of the Highlight 2 MRI extension in use:
≥ 1.0.0-alpha4 Java 11 required by CAST Highlight agent 5.4.29
1.0.0-alpha1 - 1.0.0-alpha3 Java 8 or 11 required by CAST Highlight agent 5.3.76

 

NB: HLautomation.log can be found in LISA folder : \ProgramData\CAST\CASTMS\LISA
