In CAST SAP extractor 8.4.7, while uploading the role you may get the
Error: Type of role ZCAST_EXTRACTOR is Undetermined.
Workaround or Action Plan
The error generally occurs if you have missing flags in the
standard table AGR_FLAGS.
The CAST Extractor Zip file presents 2 ways to import the role
1- by importing the customizing Transport request DM1K900975.
2- by uploading the text file into the PFCG transaction.
To solve this issue it is better to import the role by means of the 2nd
method.
NB: The text file exists in the CAST Extractor Zip file under "2 - Customizing
(extractor configuration)" and it's named "Role #CAST_EXTRACTOR". All the steps
are described in the installation user guide.
Also, the issue may occur in case, the role already exists in the environment where the user reimported it again. Removing the role and reimporting it will solve the issue.
