Server Manager - Schema Install - Upgrade Schema - Manage Extension Error - "More references than expected"

We have come across an error when using a network drive to place the CAST Installation / Flat file. 

When running tasks like schema installation, Schema upgrade, Manage extension from server manager, you will see the error - "2019-09-20 11:04:19.245009 Error MODULMSG ; Job execution More references than expected : 10414 instances found, but new entity id is 10462 0 gcdoc\gcdocimporter.cpp 768 [Module name] 0
0 ; 0 0"

As a workaround, you need to make sure you have the CAST Installation/Flat file on your local drive and not a network drive. 

R&D is working to find the root cause for the same.
