AIP Operator 101v3 - Getting Started with Console  

This course provides an overview of the AIP Console and AIP Operator roles and responsibilities for operating the Console. The course describes how to -

  • install and configure 
  • set up the Console environment 
  • analyze and review analysis results of an application in the Console

The course also includes quizzes to test learners' knowledge for each module and a hands-on exercise at the end.

The Basic Qualified AIP Operator program recognizes the demonstrated competence in leading and directing software analysis and measurement using CAST AIP through Console. It is really to validate that the eLearning course for AIP operator has successfully been completed and the content is absorbed to start operating the AIP Platform.

AIP Super Operator eLearning Curriculum

Note- Super Operators can take this course if they are new to AIP and need to understand or revise the basics before starting with advanced concepts.

2 AIP Super Operator 101 - Working with AIP through Console

This course helps AIP Super Operator perform advanced tasks such as application migration from legacy AIP to Console, advanced configuration and onboarding, and working with Transactions and Architecture Studio.

This course must be followed by the AIP Super Operator 102 - Hands-on exercise.

3 AIP Super Operator 102 - Hands-on Exercise

This is an extension of the AIP Super Operator -101 course and includes the hands-on exercises and instructions. It allows you to implement the learning from the AIP Super Operator-101 course into practical knowledge.

This course is a self-guided, sequential reading path through the course contents and assignments. However, the course material can also be used to support virtual classroom training, where in conjunction with the expert guidance of a CAST proctor, the content and the course assignments can follow a custom learning path tailored to the training objectives and ability of the students

4 AIP Super Operator 103 - Advance configurations in AIP

This course is next in the series of AIP Super Operator 101 and 102 courses. So, it is recommended to complete AIP Super Operator 101 and 102 before going through this course.

This course helps AIP Super Operators perform advanced tasks such as refining analysis configuration, reviewing dynamic links, creating User-Defined Modules, working with Assessment Models, and managing Transactions.

5 AIP Super Operator - Architecture Studio v1

The course explains in detail what Architect Studio is and the different tasks it allows you to perform, such as how to create and apply an architecture model to an application.

5 CAST Professional Certification for Super Operators (CPC)

For beginner and intermediate Super Operator roles to demonstrate their ability to configure applications properly across different technologies.

The certification also lets you demonstrate expertise in the technology of your choice.

6 CAST Advance Certification for AIP Super Operator (CAC)

For advanced Super Operators to demonstrate -

  • The expertise of thorough understanding of AIP and technologies for which AIP is being used, and knowledge of related configuration in AIP Console.
  • Their ability to configure complex applications to achieve high precision in analyzing results.

Key User eLearning Curriculum

A Key User plays a critical role in supporting the company’s success with CAST AIP and understanding final business requirements to contribute to meeting the objectives. Key Users work closely with the CAST Operator and Super Operator to fine-tune the analysis results for the specific application context and help expose improvement opportunities. They interpret the analysis results so that they can -

  • Prioritize violations and action, and define the right outputs/decisions out of CAST AIP analysis Outputs
  • Build the reports to explain the interpretation of analysis results for the consumption of customers, management teams, or vendors.

The role requires technical expertise to understand application-specific analysis data and create effective remediation plans.
